i considered using some other image for the post - the rows of lit up candles are specially photogenic; but this photo better represents the mood today.

i’ve decided to carry my camera along a bit more often, while im interning. it may help while away some time while stuck in traffic, especially in the evenings. the only hitch being that my point and shoot doesn’t really give great results while shooting at night. anyway, this is from the footbridge at santacruz station, looking to the west. here’s an earlier photo of the road leading to parle east station - all station roads appear familiar at the first glance. there was this first year visual studies project we had done, based on parle station road - i had taken up the well along the road, and many people who’d lived there all their life couldn’t remember ever noticing a well.
an ad being fixed on a bus-stop along juhu-versova link road. the new bus-stops have a one-fix-for-all-situations approach, and are plonked everywhere, irrespective of foothpath size and passenger-traffic. i prefer the old concrete bus stops over these new shiny ones
on my way home from dad’s office, the rick took the new route appended to juhu gully. and with a new path there are new things to look out at. this is a random shot along the road. i didn’t frame the bicycle, but now i quite like how a part of it pops into the frame
hey all, mindless mumbai is back after nearly two months; and what better way to get back to city-daily-photo than to start with a ‘theme day’. though this one is a few days late, it’s here :)
this one was clicked at a scrap yard somewhere in oshiwara or jogeshwari. we were there for a college workshop that required us to walk along a nallah (a large drain). more about the workshop here.
